Question

Will using Marijuana produce damaging effects in the aura? I am asking intuitives what they see in people who take drugs. I am especially interested in the affects of marijuana. There are those who believe the use of this drug can be beneficial, while they are others who see damaging effects on the aura. What is your view on this?

Answer
We believe that Marijuana can damage the chi, which will affect to aura. Also it will hurt the kidneys. In Taoism, we believe that the pineal gland stores and produces a special secretion, like pinoline, which is the super conductor at the moment of death. This special secretion will be released and will let that person see light. The spirit can release and follow the light. The hormone can make people see color and see visions. So we believe that when people use drugs, they will deplete this hormone. Then not much will be left at the moment of death, and our soul can get lost.

Question

I have heard that a beginner meditator should count his breaths, is this necessary or can one gain concentration through sticking with other meditations?

Answer
The main practice of the Tao practice is not to count the breath, but concentrate on the lower Tan Tien which is the major battery of the body, Relax , sink the upper mind down and concentrate on the navel until the Tan Tien feels warm. Use the mind to guide the Chi to move in the orbit. When you use the mind on counting the breath. You cannot concentrate very well in feeling the Chi in the body.

Question
Is it true that one who has never gone through the counting breaths process cannot engage in effective meditation? Also, what is the difference between what you teach and Taoist meditations like the water or fire method?
Answer
We teach the Water and Fire method of practice in the higher practice of Kan and Li. When the water and fire interact, it produces Chi in form of steam.
