Universal Tao Newsletter March 2007
At Tao Garden, morning and evening exercises are offered by certified Universal Tao instructors all year around. The ancient Taoist masters regarded the physical body as the house of our soul and spirits. We all wish to have healthy and strong bodies to enjoy life. In the Tao we believe that we need a strong and healthy body for our spiritual development as well. (morning exercises DVD)
In today’s world, pollution and a lack of exercise often leave our bodies at a disadvantage. For this reason, it is a good idea to supplement our spiritual practice with extra care for our physical health. Our Pakua clinic offers a variety of holistic health services for this purpose such as: detoxifying the large intestine through hydro colonics, releasing tension in our second brain, the abdomen, by Chi Nei Tsang massage, learning about what food is good for our body type are only a few topics of the wide range of massages and treatments offered at the Pakua clinic. Private classes in any practice of the Universal Tao system (Meditation, Iron Shirt Chi Kung, Sexual Chi Kung, Tai Chi Chi Kung, CNT massage) are taught by resident instructors. At Tao Garden we learn that our emotions are what make us sick. Our mind is active all day until it finally comes to a rest when we sleep. Every emotion has an impact on our physical body. Even a little bit of frustration changes our heart beat. Food plays an important role in our life but has far less impact on our physical health than our emotional balance.
Understanding this, we should take time each day to smile into our 5 major organs and nurture the positive feelings which are in each organ.
Stepping out of your daily routine and taking time to “recharge your battery” can have a dramatic effect on your overall wellbeing.
Master Mantak Chia’s Tao Garden is the ideal place to service your body, mind and spirit.

Kung-Fu for beginner by Ernst Pettker, Universal Tao Instructor
14 Days from April 30th— May, 12th 2007
Kung-Fu, the way it is taught at the Tao garden, is derived from animal movements; it teaches ten different animal styles like snake, tiger, crane or eagle and it works with Chi, the life force. Still, it is a full contact defence technique. While doing Kung-Fu - the forms, special breathing techniques, fighting, and destruction - the students build up a lot of energy and they activate their Tan Tien. Chi is increased, guided through the body in order to find harmony and balance. Kung-Fu in this way increases health and well-being and can also lead to spiritual development. read more
