Universal Tao Newsletter February 2007 The transformed energy of our negative emotions adds another source of vitality which can be conserved for further growth and the helping of others. The next level is to begin to give birth, first to the soul, and then to the spirit in the body. The body has been developed to become a fit dwelling place for the soul and spirit, and must also provide nourishment for soul and body through the energies accumulated through the beginning practices. Giving birth to the soul is awakening that part of oneself which perceives and acts free from environmental, educational and karmic conditioning. The Lesser Enlightenment of Kan and Li Meditations leads to the overcoming of the cycle of reincarnation. Learning awareness through the awakened soul to be creatively active in the world, one learns not to merely react to circumstances. This level of meditation has many physiological effects as well, further preparing the body to accommodate greater amounts of energy necessary for the birth and nourishment of the soul and spirit. (From Lesser Kan & Li Book by Master Mantak Chia) Tao Garden presents retreats as follows: Tao Garden Summer Retreat 2007
Develop
inner Beauty and outer Radiance From May 13rd — 19th,
a weekly retreat for women is announced "The Treasure of
the Female Sexual Practice", on how to Develop Inner Beauty
and outer Radiance held by Jutta Kellenberger, Senior
and Resident Instructor at Tao Garden. Through the ancient Taoist practices
you learn to heal body, mind and spirit. Sexual energy plays a major part
in this healing process because if you do not use it in a proper way it
can create frustration and health problems. Through the Inner Smile meditation
you learn to love yourself. When you nurture the virtues qualities of
love, gratefulness and thankfulness within yourself you can extend it
out to others. Chi Nei Tsang I (Abdominal Massage) From May 20th— 26th, a weekly retreat on Chi Nei Tsang I abdominal massage
is announced by Jutta Kellenberger, Senior and Resident
Instructor at Tao Garden. CNT is a deep tissue healing massage. Tension,
knots and tangles in the abdomen, which Taoist masters’ regard as second
brain, can only be released through this special massage technique. You
learn to open up communication with yourself, feel your organ energy and
balance it. It opens the doors to our unconsciousness and creates space
to store chi in our abdomen. Chi Nei Tsang II From May 27th— June 2nd,
Chi Nei Tsang II works primarily with the trapped winds of the body that
become sick or evil winds which can lead to (for example) a heart attack,
if not released. The students will learn the Ten Different Winds, and
how to chase and discharge them out of the body and to inject good Chi
back into the vital organs and glands. In the abdominal Navel Center negative
emotions, stress, tension, and sickness accumulate and congest. When this
occurs, all vital functions stagnate. Using CNT II techniques in and around
the area of the navel provides the fastest method of healing and the most
permanent results. Integration From 9th – 15th July 2007,
Living life is riding a river running back into the ocean of love. You can touch this ocean. Take a week of your time to answer the only question that really matters, to touch love and bliss, and to heal at the deepest level. Learn the two forms of traditional Chinese Chi Kung meditation which Richard is a certified trainer for, and practice the NLP processes he has modelled from extraordinary spiritual teachers.
