TAOIST FIVE ELEMENT ASTROLOGY & NUTRITION PROGRAM
| WITH TAOIST GRAND MASTER MANTAK CHIA | The Heaven & the Star Constellations of the Chinese Zodiac | | | In
Taoist Astrology, just like in modern Western Astronomy, all events are
related back to the Beginning of the Universe, the Big Bang, or as it
is called in Chinese 'Wu Chi'. The birth of a person, or the starting
of some event, a business for instance, as a point in time, directly
involves the birth of the Universe itself, since any event takes part
of the Space-Time Continuum. Astrology thus calculates the time of a
human birth and relates it to the movements of the Heaven (Space). In
Taoist Astrology our birth is seen as the coming togetherof Tien, Heaven, Ren, Human and Ti,
Earth, which are considered in Chinese culture as 'The Three
Treasures', and determine the destiny of a human. The Heavenly Force
determines the Spirit, the Human determines himself and the Earth Force
designates both to a certain place, relation or activity. At
the time that we are born on Earth, certain Constellations dominate the
Heavens,
the Sun is traversing a particular Sign of the Zodiac and the
'handle' of the Big Dipper, points towards a certain
position on the Earth's horizon. The ancient Chinese astronomers observed that
through the year, the movements of the Big Dipper around the Northstar
indicated the the Growth & Decay
Cycles of Nature, the Cycle of the Five Elements and the Dynamics of
Yin and Yang.

| The Luo Pan, Compass of the Feng Shui Masters
| | | | All these factors are
considered in
the calculations, and on these the Chinese Calender is based.
Thus are determined our favorable days,
hours, months and years, as well as our most auspicious directions in
the heavens, our best sleeping position, and the like. This then is the
famous (External) Feng Shui, which tells us were and how to build our
house and how to design our environment, which materials to use, and which
symbols to incorporate therein. Much less well known is the Internal
Feng Shui, or Inner Alchemy, which on the same basis, tells us which of
our elements are unbalanced and gives us clues towards what we should
eat and drink: the Five Elements Nutrition. |
