4) Chi Self-Massage (M)

Chi Self-Massage is a method of hands-on self-healing work using one’s internal energy or Chi to strengthen and rejuvenate the sense organs (eyes, ears, nose, tongue), teeth, skin and inner organs. Using internal power (Chi) and gentle external stimulation, this simple yet highly effective self massage technique enables one to dissolve some of the energy blocks and stress points responsible for disease and the aging process. Taoist rejuvenation dates back 5000 years to the Yellow Emperor’s classic text on internal medicine. Virtually all Western style massage is massage primarily of the muscles. Whatever its virtues, Western massage is altogether different from Chi Massage. From ancient times to the present, Taoist Masters have been remarkably youthful, appearing and functioning at least twenty years younger than their actual ages. Tao Rejuvenation employs one’s own internal energy, Chi energy, to strengthen and rejuvenate the sense organs – eyes, ears, nose, tongue, teeth and skin – and the inner organs. The techniques used by Taoists are some five thousand years old and, until very recently, were closely guarded secrets passed on from a Master to a small group of students. Often, too, each Master knew only a small part. Now Master Chia has pieced together the entire system of Chi Massage in a logical sequence in such a way that once you have it shown to you, you need only five or ten minutes of daily practice. In short order you will note improvement in complexion, taste, vision, hearing, sinuses, gums, teeth, tongue, the internal organs and general stamina.
